Hi Wolfspeed Team,

i want to be sure, if CRD-25BDA6512N-K is compatible with TI controller TMDSCNCD28379D (TMDSCNCD28379D Daughter card | TI.com) ?

    Thank you for pointing this out. There seems to be an error on the user-guide for CRD-25BDA6512N-K. The design is compatible with TMDSCNCD280039C- https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSCNCD280039C.

    Initially, TMDSCNCD28379D was considered that is why you'll see a footprint compatibility with that control card as well but the final firmware, layout optimizations and testing has only been done with TMDSCNCD280039C. Thank you!

    wenn i compare pinout for each boards, i see that TMDSCNCD28379D can be used with some sw modification. Am i right? Can you share with me firmware for TMDSCNCD280039C or is it available with C2000 from TI?

    You can request the firmware from CRD-25BDA6512N-K's product page. If the request is approved, the firmware based on TMDSCNCD280039C will be sent to you on the email id you provide.

    Yes TMDSCNCD28379D may be used with some modifications that the user will have to make. However, we don't support the firmware with TMDSCNCD28379D.
