25kW Three phase inverter - CRD25DA12N-FMC Pressfit current limit

I would like to acquire the CRD25DA12N-FMC 25 kW inverter to control a three-phase motor of less than 25 kW.
The issue I have is that the motor sometimes demands peak currents of up to 130A for 50ms. Based on what I’ve seen in the datasheet for the sixpack module CCB021M12FM3T (Figure 18, 2025 revision), the pins seem to withstand a maximum pulsed current of about 60A for 50ms.
Is this correct, or have I misinterpreted the datasheet? If it is correct, what is the reason for this limitation? Is there any way to work around it? I haven't found another converter that meets my requirements without oversizing the system.
Thanks in advance!

Hello DanielSM,
Your interpretation of the datasheet is correct. A current of 130 A for 50 ms would exceed both the die and the pin limits of the power module. These are thermal limitations. You could achieve some additional margin by operating the system at a lower starting temperature (the datasheet value uses 50°C), but this will not gain you nearly the margin that your system requires. I would advise trying to limit the motor peak current or duration.
Thanks,
Chris N.
