CAS175M12BM3 about temperature measurement

Customer would like to measure the heat generation temperature of the CAS175M12BM3.
Could you please confirm the following two points?

1. Where to attach the thermocouple to the heat sink.
2. How to calculate the junction temperature from the measured.temperature

In general, it is not possible to attach a thermocouple to a heatsink and accurately determine the junction temperature of the die in a power module. Significant characterization must be completed to create a mapping of heatsink temperature to junction temperature across various system parameters including flow rate and ambient temperature. This translation between heatsink temp and junction temperature is unique to each customer's end system; therefore, it is not a parameter that we can provide.
