MOD-MB-3P-0900V-40A-N

I would like to use the SpeedVal Kit - 3 phase or half-bridge to use just as a driver-inverter. I will reuse the controller board used in my project (based of TI DSP) which will output 3 phases of PWM_HI and PWM_LO signals to drive 3 x half-bridge inverters. I dont want to use the controller board on the SpeedVal kit. In the block diagram of the Speedval MB, I see the gate controls are internal. Is there a way to disconnect and provide the PWM signal to gate drive and power daughter cards separately?

Hello,
Yes, you can choose to provide the PWM signals from an external controller. There is a header provided for this purpose. Please ensure that the NXP control card is not installed in the motherboard if you are applying the PWM signals externally. You can use 3.3 or 5V logic to drive these inputs. If you need the voltage and current feedback signals for your control loop, you can create an adapter board to interface your controller with the NXP control card slot so you have access to all signals on the board.
