Wolfspeed's 60kW DAB unit-further discussion

Hi,

Chris has supported be for few concept on the DAB 60kW module for my earlier discussion (https://forum.wolfspeed.com/discussion/1108/wolfspeed-039-s-60kw-dab-unit#latest). Thank you for you support Chris.

We are trying to build or rework on the 60kW DAB module which you have provided with the schematic and other details. Need your few support on the gate driver which you designed.

1. Did you see any false turn on immediately after the turn off SiC mosfet happens? Even if the Millers clamp circuit is activated via clamp pin of the gate drive IC.
2. Do you have any results of Vgs and Id for any voltage ranges of input and output during turn off. I have observed the ZVS plots during turn on from https://www.wolfspeed.com/knowledge-center/article/maximize-efficiency-in-isolated-dc-converters-for-ev-fast-charging-systems/
3. Kindly share the efficiency plot for different voltage levels you tested the prototype vs the power vs efficiency for gaining more confidence on our similar design.

Hello Vishnu,

1. We did not observe this issue. Do you have waveforms demonstrating this behavior?
2. We performed our initial testing at 800 Vin and 800 Vout, so our results are from those testing conditions. I provided some additional Vgs and transformer current plots below for your reference.
3. As mentioned in (2), we performed our initial testing at 800 Vin and 800 Vout. We plan to collect data at additional operating points, but we do not have those plots to share yet.
