starting a DC-AC converter design
I am interested in building a DC-AC converter around a CASW300M17BM2 half bridge.
The CGD1200HBP-BM2 Companion Gate Driver is recommended, but it is only rated to 1200 V.
Is there a Gate Driver rated to 1700V so full advantage of of the 1700 V half bridge can be achieved?
Is there a recommended pwm controller that could provide input signals to develop a fixed voltage sinewave at a selectable fundamental frequency while switching the half bridge above 100 KHz?
Thank you for any advice!

Hello Wilder,
A 1.7 kV-capable gate driver (CGD1700HBP-BM2 & CGD1700HBP-BM3) will be released alongside the new third-generation 1.7 kV BM3 module (CAS310M17BM3) in Q3 of 2022. This new driver will be similar to the 1.2 kV CGD1200HBP-BM2 gate driver and will utilize Analog Devices' ADuM4146 Grade C all-in-one gate driver IC rather than the ADuM4135. For initial lab testing, the 1.2 kV CGD1200HBP-BM2 driver can be used for double-pulse testing and brief power testing, but the lifetime is reduced.
For the PWM controller, we recommend the C2000 series of DSPs from Texas Instruments such as the F28388D.
