Hello Wolfspeed,

I want to start a simulation in SIMextrix. But I always failed to import SiC MOSFET LTspice Models of C3M0075120J in SIMextrix, and got a error message of SIMextrix does not know what symbol to use for this model. press "Place" to resolve.

Best regards!

    Hi Qian,

To quickly resolve this issue, press 'Place' in the Model Library folder after selecting the device you want. A window will open instructing you to associate the model with a symbol and here you can select a symbol that matches the pin-out of the device netlist. For the current iteration of the C3M0075120J, there is not a native model in SIMetrix that matches the pin-out structure, so you can easily remedy this by using 'Auto Create Symbol' to create a block for the pin-out. Note that 's1' in this structure will be the kelvin source while the rest are the power source pins. See below images for the details.

Please let me know if this solves your problem!

    Thanks,

    Zack
