Turn off switching loss in TI application note

Hello,

I am reading the application note TI has published on a 10-kW DAB converter built with Wolfspeed SiC transistors (https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidues0c/tidues0c.pdf?ts=1667367812386) and they refer to the switching loss chart given in the C3M0030090K data-sheet. I understand that these losses are measured on a test bench with a 600-V bias at various current values.

In the example on page 25 of this AN, the authors scale their operating values (input and output voltages, operating current) to extract the turn-off loss with respect to the 180-µJ/50 A given in the chart. If I understand the principle behind this scaling, I do not see where the "pi" coefficient comes from in equations (25) to (27). Would you have an explanation for this "pi" presence? I have tried to ping the authors but without success so far. Thank you.

Quintus

Hello TBhatia, thank you, I actually found the response to my question: the "pi" factor is wrong in equations (25) to (27) and must be deleted. Kind regards, Quintus.
