Automotive OBC wide input range (400-700-850V) to wide output range (22-28-32V)
Try to deep study for one automotive OBC product like 700DNC40-24-8G from Belfuse.
As far as my study, suitable topology Dual Active Bridge.
Have tried SpeedFit but return some thermal issues.
Do you have any suggestion or reference design for these type of OBC with wide range input/output?

Hello AndrewNgTr,
Currently we do not have a Dual Active Bridge reference design but we can certainly help you with the thermal issues you're facing with Speedfit to simulate the topology and help you with device selection.
Can you suggest if you're trying the same specifications as 700DNC40-24-8G from Belfuse as follows:
Output Power= 4000W
Input Voltage Range (VDC)= 400 - 850V (Nominal= 700V)
Output Voltage (VDC)= 24V
Switching Frequency? (we can assume typical 100kHz for this topology and application)
Thank you!

Hi TBhatia,
Thanks for your info and please help to do proposal.
For output, as I study, normally it will be 28V to make sure the drop voltage when it come to charging stage. I am not sure what is the best topology and f(SW) for this type of OBC.
This is my first time to work with this kind of automotive charger so please understand with my lack of knowledge.
Best Regard,

Hello Andrew,
There are some references you can check:
- IEEE paper. https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/5710417
- TI reference design https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-010054
Thanks for reaching out to us.
