Measuring gate threshold voltage
Hi all,
I am preparing to set up the gate threshold voltage measurement circuit for the Wolfspeed HF module (CAS120M12BM2). However, I encountered an issue when increasing the gate voltage to reach the threshold voltage level. Once I reached the gate threshold voltage and I stopped increasing, the drain-source current began to decrease gradually (around 1 MicroAmp per 10 seconds). This only happened when using the MOSFET, not the IGBT. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the reason.

Hi Farzad,
Can you provide schematics or pictures of your test setup? It would be beneficial to see how the module is connected, the test procedure, and how you are making the current measurement.
Thanks,
Jonathan
