Hello,

I would like to have CAD files for press-in fixturing for FM3 and GM3 devices depicted in Figure 9 of CPWR-AN41.

Also, do you have a recommended manufacturer for these parts?

Best regards.

    Hi ArunA,

Can you advise what material should be used to print the press-in fixturing?

    Best regards.

    Hi Duclair,

For prototyping, any normal 3D printing material (e.g ABS) should work. But please be advised that plastics undergo compression under force and can have an impact on the pattern. This is to be taken into consideration.

For production press fit tooling, we recommend metal press fit tooling using some subtractive manufacturing process (e.g milling).

I would also like to request you to create new questions for new topics rather than commenting on the original question. This improves traceability for future users of the platform.

    Regards,
