XM3 Inverter CAN Interface with PCAN device

I'm trying to connect via CAN bus CRD300DA12E-XM3, three phase inverter unit, using a PCAN usb to CAN device. But I can't get it to connect. The drivers are installed and the PCAN-USB unit is working with another CAN device but not the Wolfspeed one. Does the XM3 come preinstalled with the correct firmware to interface with the CAN bus or do I have to flash the software initially? Is there a way to tell if the the software is installed correctly without the CAN bus working? Any LED blinking? Right now my unit has no LEDs blinking.

Hi Tom,
The pre-populated "Channel" name in the GUI is not correct, instead it should be what is shown below.
If you change the channel name to match this format, "PCAN_USBBUSx" where x = 1 or 2 depending on which CAN channel you are using, that should do the trick.
Thanks,
Jonathan
