Can the product be used normally if there are black scent on it?

The back of the diode (the thermal pad appears black)

Is this normal? Does it affect usage?

The black part cannot be cleared.

    Hello,

    The discoloration appears to be cosmetic and superficial. Minor cosmetic blemishes do not impact the performance, and these parts can be used without concern. As long as the mounting surface is smooth and free of any deep scratches or protrusions, the thermal interface will perform as expected.

    why the heat sink easy to be black？we found that there would be gaps in the tube packing, and the chip could shake inside，will the tube packing affect it?

    Yes, it is possible that the markings were made by the devices vibrating in the packaging during shipping. This marking should not impact the device performance and can be used as-is.
