Compatibility Issue: crd300da12e-xm3 Inverter with Sincos Sensor for PMSM Motor Control
Greetings Wolfspeed community,
I'm currently working with an "crd300da12e-xm3" inverter for a PMSM-Motor FOC-control application. However, I've encountered a compatibility issue: my motor comes equipped with a sin/cos sensor, whereas the inverter only an Encoder-Feedback for the speed measurement.
I'm seeking advice on whether there's a method or solution available to adapt the inverter to accommodate a sincos sensor.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Mohamed Ftouhi

Hi Mohamed,
Does the motor sin/cos sensor also require an excitation circuit as well? In either case, the spare ADC pins on the F28379D LaunchPad can be utilized to measure additional signals. So you will most likely need to create a hardware adapter to interface the sin/cos sensor with the LaunchPad.
Thanks,
Jonathan

I also requested the Source Code File in the Firmware & GUI section, but I did not received any updates in my E-Mail. Could you please send me the source code file?
Thank you!
