Question about SPEEDVAL KIT HALF-BRIDGE MOTHERB : MOD-MB-HB-0900V-40A

I have questions about SPEEDVAL KIT HALF-BRIDGE MOTHERB.

  1. If I buy it in Digikey or Mouser(MOD-MB-HB-0900V-40A), does it include the Daughter card or not?

when I read datasheet, it looks like the Daughter card included… but I just want to make sure.

2. What is the maximum current and DC link voltage?

When I check the Daugther card datasheet, it looks like C3M000045065L used.

But the SiC MOSFET is 650V… But in the SPEEDVAL KIT datasheet, the max voltage is 900V and 40A max current. Could you verify for me?

Best regards,

    Hello,

The SpeedVal™ Kit platform is a modular setup, meaning each element is purchased separately. We have a configurator here https://www.wolfspeed.com/speedval-kit-configurator/ that you can use to easily see all of the available options and put together a shopping cart, which you can then purchase through a distributor such as Arrow/Digikey/Mouser. In order to create a complete system, you will need the motherboard, power daughter card (MOSFET card), and a gate driver card. The controller card and buck/boost board are optional.

The motherboard supports DC link voltages up to 900V and RMS current of 40A. This is suitable for MOSFETs rated up to 1200V. The actual voltage and current you run at will depend on the MOSFET power daughter card selected. If you are working with a 650V MOSFET, it is recommended to operate with a bus voltage of about 450V or less.
