100KW Interleaved Boost Converter using reference design CRD-60DD12N
I wish to develop a 100kW interleaved DC-DC converter that will convert 150V DC from a fuel cell system to 400V DC. The plan is to have five interleaved stages, each rated at 20kW or 5 modules of 2 stage interleaved boost converter each of 20KW in parallel.
I would like to inquire about the possibility of using Wolfspeed's CRD-60DD12N reference design as a starting point for my converter design. Additionally, can I get assistance from Wolfspeed in terms of the design process and the selection of appropriate part numbers for my application.

Hello Suvamit,
Thank you for your question! Yes CRD-60DD12N reference design might be good starting point with respect to component placement, layout, thermal management if you're planning to use Through-Hole devices. The input and output voltage specifications are different for that design, for your design 650V devices will be sufficient depending on your voltage overshoots and derating requirements.
Wolfspeed's online simulator
might be an excellent tool for you to start with. You can simulate your boost or interleaved boost stage for 20kW and depending on your input/output specifications the tool will recommend you a few devices. As per your thermal requirements, you might have to iterate with different Rds(on) and paralleling the devices.A complete summary about using the tool is available here https://forum.wolfspeed.com/categories/speedfit-design-simulator
Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thank you!
