Hi sirs,

We would like to calculate the switching losses, could wolfspeed provide a formula for calculating switching losses?

For now we use Switching off loss = Vin/Vin(ref) * Ids/Ids(ref)*Eoff * fsw.

is there any other recommendation?

    Hi Carson,

To evaluate Wolfspeed devices accurately in your topology for the switching losses, I would recommend using the SpeedFit tool which scales the switching loss based on the operating voltage and current. SpeedFit is a quick tool and can provide accurate device performance data within a few minutes.

You can also try using our PLECS device models for the same purpose.

    Regards,

    Urvi
