CRD300DA12E-XM3 - Power Supply

Good morning,

I am Oriol Subirats Rillo, an engineer in Power Electronics at CITCEA - UPC, a research center in Barcelona, Spain.

Currently, we are developing advanced control techniques and we would like a prototype to implement these techniques on a real platform. For this purpose, we have considered the CRD300DA12E-XM3.

For this test, we are using PMSM with resolver as a position sensor, and we are thinking to add another auxiliary PCB (between adaptation board and the LAUNCHPAD with the correspond PCB headers to communicate the adaptation board and the LAUNCHPAD) for the excitation and the analogic filter for COS/SIN from the resolver.

We are considering to obtain the powersupply (5 and 3.3 V) from the launchpad, it is possible?

Which is the maximum current that we can obtain?
