I would like to know how I can measure reverse recovery losses from diodes.

I have tried the following, but I get completely different results from Err.

Can you tell me what I should do differently . Thanks in advance.

best Regards.

    Hello,

The problem with your simulation is that you have placed the load inductor on the low side and are also switching the low side. There is never any current flowing through your load. Instead, you have two options:

    1. Place the load inductor from V+ to HIGH. Switch G2/K2 with G1/K1 held OFF. Measure I(R10) and V(Mid).
    2. Place the load inductor from Mid to GND. Switch G1/K1 with G2/K2 held OFF. Measure I(R9) and V(High,Mid)

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Brian
