SiC Schottky Diode Avalanche ability

Hello,
Do SiC Schottky Diodes are avalanche proof ? I need an high voltage diode with no recovery, I will use C4D01120E in serial and I wonder if y need to equilibrate them (for example with TVS) or if they are avalanche proof.
Regards
Mathieu

Yes, our diodes have avalanche capability. However it always depends on the energy during a certain time frame. TVS can also be used to protect the diodes and extra care needs to be taken of the power rating of the TVS.
The performance data of our 20A part can be found in the following paper for Wolfspeed's diode. The 2A part has a smaller die and lower Avalanche energy.
