GUI Communication
Hello,
We have purchased half bridge mother with TI and NXP controller. We flash the firmware on TI controller and we tied to connect the GUI software we receive from wolf speed. We are not be able to communication with the software. We have checked if the data is commining out from the controller using putty communication software and we saw some activity . The GUI guide doesn't clearly specify the baud rate, or it automatically detect the Baud rate. We are struggling to make the connection work.
We took the following steps
- Open the GUI
2. Flash firmware on c2000(F250039) firmware
3. plug into the mother board
4.power the mother board with 12

Greetings:
First make sure you have connected the controller to the host pc running the GUI with the proper usb cable. At this point, you will launch the GUI.
When you launch the GUI, you need to select a COM port. This COM port number will vary based on your pc but the dropdown box within the GUI will give one or more options. Select a COM port and if it is the correct one, there will be a green connection indicator letting you know the GUI has now connected to the controller. You may have to go through each available COM port to find the correct one.
Once the connection indicator is green, you will click new file which will then take you to the hardware configuration screen where you can start setting up your application.
