Hi,

Could someone please share the specific values used for Rgon (turn-on) and Rgoff (turn-off) resistors in the CRD200DA23N-GMA 2300 V Three-Phase Inverter reference design? Any additional context on why these values were chosen would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

    Hello Mahmoodreza93,

The design uses 1 ohm for both Rgon and Rgoff. These were selected because they are the default values on the CGD1700HB2M-UNA gate driver used for this design and because the CAB5R0A23GM4T power module performs well with these resistor values. For example, see the module switching energy vs gate resistance plot below (picture from the datasheet). A user can easily change the switching characteristics by adjusting R27, R28, R30, and R31 on the gate driver boards.

    Thanks,

    Chris N.
