Hello,

Could you share the updated XML file for the CAB5R0A23GM4T power module, the one similar to the XML for the CAB6R0A23GM4T (attached below) which you are developing internally? I am trying to decide which power module to select between the two for my project, and the updated XML file will help me with this.

Regards,

Prathik

    Hi Prathik,

I've attached the integrated models for all three 2300V Wolfpacks. Let me know if you need anything else!

    Thanks,
    Blake

    Hello Blake,

I have a question about the XML file. I noticed that the diode reverse recovery losses are not modelled (both in the XML which you shared in this thread and in the XML that are already available in the WS website). This is not specific to the CAB5R0 part and I've noticed that in a lot of WS XMLs, the Err information of the diode is blank. Is there any specific reason for this?

The Err information is available in the datasheet. Although it is smaller than Eon and Eoff when Ids>150A, it is definitely significant for lower values of Ids.

Please let me know what you think about this.

    Hi Prathik,

I do have some experimental models with the Err losses included for the 2300V wolfpacks. The Err loss table is a recent development and we are working on validation, any feedback you have would be appreciated! (Sorry to make you a beta tester)

My hope is that we can release our new models with all the recent improvements to our website this year (though many older parts are missing the full dataset required to add all the model features included in these ones). Until then, feel free to reach out on the forum and I can provide whatever model is latest for a specific part.

    Thanks,
    Blake
