Hi,

I just bought a CRD25DA12N-FMC and would like to exercise with lowest possible DC-link voltage to start with. Can you please let me know the lowest possible DC-link voltage I can use for my initial evaluation?

Thanks!

    Hello mtrdrv25,

There is no strict minimum voltage for the system to start switching. Internally, we have used the unit in demonstrations with a bus voltage of only 50 V. However, this system is designed to be operated at 800 V, so we recommend operating it at elevated voltage when looking at the performance of the inverter and SiC modules.

    Thanks,

    Chris N.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the explanation. Just wanted to know what voltage I can use for initial testing before operating the inverter at 800V eventually.
