Hi Wolfspeed experts,

According to the document, LTspice model has a parasitic component associated with the package (gate, source, drain and kelvin). When I check the parameters described in the library file (C3M0016120K.lib for this case), I found:

Ls1 and R_Ls1 : inductance & resistance of source pin & wires

Ls2 and R_Ls2 : inductance & resistance of kelvin pin & wire

Lg and R_Lg : inductance & resistance of gate pin & wire

Ld and R_Ld : inductance & resistance of drain pin & wires

Here's the question, what parameters Rv and Lv and R_gg refer to?

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards,

Hiroshi

    Hi,

Lv is the inductance that is common to both the gate loop and power loop in the device. Rv and R_gg are both "convergence aides" that do not reflect device performance but are added to help the solver in LTSpice converge when running a simulation. I hope this helps!

    Thanks,

    Zack

    Hi Zack,

I get it now. Thank you for the answer!
