LTspice model C2M0040120D
Hello,
I'm currently working on simulation with Ltspice and C2M0040120D model, and to be sure that my circuit was working I try to remake some graphic of the data sheet. But wasn't able to have the good value, so I change my circuit but nothing changes, so I test with another Mosfet, the C2M0080120D and with this Mosfet I found the correct value. So I want to know if it's my circuit the problem or if this can be the model of the C2M0040120D.
Thank you for your time and support,
Amaury

Hello Amaury,
Thank you for your question. I want to understand your question better.
1) What graphic of the datasheet were you planning to remake?
2) I see that you have utilized two different junction temperatures: -55C for C2M0040120D and 25C for C2M0080120D. Is this intentional?
3) I also see that in the C2M0040120D case you utilized 20V (positive) gate voltage whereas for C2M0080120D you use only 10V. Is this intentional?
More details would help me debug the issue better.
Thank you for your patience

hello,
Here are my answers.
For the first question, I want to remake all the graphics of the datasheet except those that don't need ltspice simulation. And for questions 2 and 3, I just took photos of the circuits in the state they were in to remake certain graphics, so that's why the C2M0040120D has a Tj of -55°C and a Vgs=20V and that the C2M0080120D is 25°C with Vgs=10V.
Thank you for your time and support.

I neglected to mention that the purpose of my request is not the C2M0080120D; rather, it was to demonstrate that, while using the C2M0040120D, I got inconsistent results, while using the C2M0080120D, the results were in line with the datasheet.

Hi Amaury,
Thank you for your patience, I do see the issue you are talking about. I can see the IV curves simulated ones don't match well with the datasheet specified values. It is an issue with the ltspice model.
Also the spice model for the C2M0040120D has been made a while back. I would like to revisit and possibly create a one off for your simulation purposes.
Please provide me with a couple of days of time to provide you with a newer model.
Thank you,

Hi,
Thank you for those details, and thank you also for revisiting the LTSpice model. I can wait a couple of days for the models.
Have a nice day.

Hi Amaury,
I apologize for the delay, please find the attached model generated for C2M0040120D. I believe this model is much closer to the datasheet parameters then the existing version. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Sparasaram
