CRD-22AD12N at 480V
We like to develop a 22kW active front end with liquid cooling. Both CRD-22AD12N and CRD-25BDA6512N-K seem to be good choices. Since we need both single phase 230V and three phase 380-480V input none of them is a perfect match but we think the former one is the best candidate to start with.
What firmware modifications are needed to operate at 480V input?
We need +50% overload capacity for 2 seconds? With liquid cooling do you think the reference design can handle this as is or what improvements are needed?

Hi Steve,
Yes, to support 480Vac input, firmware modifications will be required. Please try to but we can not share more details about the FW update here. could you please contact Wolfspeed local FAE or sales team. then the Wolfspeed engineering team can try to support it. thank you for your understanding.
+50% overload capacity for 2 seconds, With liquid cooling, it is possible.
Regards,
Frank
